SALES REPRESENTATIVE/DIRECTOR OF FRANCHISING
A GTA native, Ryan started his career at world-renowned advertising agency Leo Burnett, working on global brands including Coco-Cola. Despite such a considerable achievement fresh out of university, he soon realized that graduating from school wasn’t the end of his education. Armed with ambition and a sense of adventure, he strapped on a backpack and bought a ticket across the pond.
While in university, his part-time gigs as a server and bartender at the Fox and Fiddle initiated him into the hospitality industry. Ryan furthered his knowledge in Ireland and Scotland working at various restaurants. Eventually, he made his way to Spain and managed the European operations of a multinational company, including web development and sales. The latter proved to be his passion, so he began a career in real estate upon his return to Toronto.
It wasn’t long before the industry noticed his intelligence, insight, professionalism and commitment to client service. He excelled the field, rising to the position of CHI’s Director of Franchising in just a few short years. In his role, Ryan manages the Team’s franchise business, working with high-profile, national chains such as Mean Bao, Visage and Jelly Modern Doughnuts, in addition to being an integral part of CHI’s commercial and investment operations. He’s become a familiar face to many top franchisors, restauranteurs and bar owners, with a client roster that spans across the GTA and Southern Ontario.
